Spiced lamb mince with lentils — Indian comfort food, no naan, no rice

Ingredients
- 500 g lamb mince
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 100 g red lentils
- 400 g tinned chopped tomatoes
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 0.5 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Heat oil, brown the lamb mince. Drain excess fat.

Add onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook until soft.

Add garam masala, turmeric, and chilli powder. Stir for a minute.

Add lentils and tinned tomatoes. Add a splash of water if needed.

Simmer for 25 minutes until lentils are soft.

Notes
No naan, no rice. Eat with a spoon. Even better the next day.
