Bolognese with Cauliflower
Classic bolognese over cauliflower instead of pasta

Ingredients
- 500 g beef mince
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 carrot, finely diced
- 1 celery stick, finely diced
- 400 g tinned chopped tomatoes
- 1 tbsp tomato puree
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 cauliflower, cut into florets

Brown the mince. Drain excess fat.

Add onion, garlic, carrot, and celery. Cook until soft.

Add tomatoes, tomato puree, and oregano. Simmer 30 minutes.

Steam the cauliflower florets until just tender.

Serve the bolognese over the cauliflower.
Notes
Serve over steamed cauliflower florets or courgette ribbons (use a peeler). Barely notice the difference versus pasta.
